This class is conducted by Ms Theong May Chuan to guide us on how to write our dissertation which consists of 5 chapters namely : research proposal, literature review, research methodology, findings and conclusion.
We were first asked to choose an a topic that we are interested in. From there, we were subdivided into groups of approximately 5 people with a supervisor each (according to their expertise in the area of topic) to guide us the topic chosen.
Later on, we narrowed down our topic to form a specific title.
In my case, it was "The Perception of Arbitration As A Mean To Resolve Dispute Amongst Contractors in Selangor".
Then we were asked to identify the aims & objective of our research paper together with the problem statement as well as the scope of study.
My scope of study targets G7 Contactors in Selangor with the aim to find out their perception on arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism.
As for the findings, it is done via several method. For acquisition stage, this study was carried out through a series of thorough literature review ranging from books, magazines, reliable websites, previous relevant studies as well as journals. Further research is then done via interview to fulfil the aims and objective of this study.
