Construction Law (QSB4414)

This module is conducted by Mr. Eddie Lim Sek Cheon.

d) Dispute Resolution - Litigation/Arbitration/Adjudication/Mediation

j) Law Relating to Payments
k) Law Relating to Land - National Land Code

In this module, there is a mid term test which consists of 20%. As for courseworks, it is divided into 2 parts : i) Presentation and ii) Group assignment.  Each courseworks consists of 15%.
As for presentation, students were grouped in pairs and we were asked to present on the previous lecture which Sr Eddie has taught. This is to test our understanding on the topic, as well as to improve our presentation skills.  

As for group assignment, we were required to do an assessment on loss and expense claim and prepare a report due to the breach of contract by the employer


This module comprieses of 3 hours of lecture and 1 hour of tutorial every week for 14 weeks.
